Prawn, with its singularly delicious taste, remains a dainty with any combination. Jumbo prawn in hot garlic sauce is one of the most dainty continental recipe.
Ingredients for preparing Jumbo Prawn in Hot Garlic Sauce:
- Prawn : 2 pieces (shelled & deveined)
- Oil : to fry
For marinate:
- Salt : 1 tsp
- Lemon juice : 1 tsp
For batter:
- Flour : 1 cup
- Cornflour : 1 cup
- Oil : 2 tbsp
- Salt : to taste
- Pepper : 1 tsp
- Green Chillies : 2 pieces (chopped)
For Sauce:
- Onion : 1 piece (chopped)
- Ginger paste : 1 tsp
- Garlic Paste : 1 tbsp
- Red Chilli Paste : 2 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup: 3 tsp
- Spring Onion : ½ cup (chopped)
- Soya Sauce : ½ tsp
- Vinegar : 1 tsp
- Chicken Stock : 1 cup
- Oil : 2 tbsp
- Salt : to taste
Procedure for preparing Jumbo Prawn in Hot Garlic Sauce:
- Wash & slit the prawn, flatten.
- Marinate with salt & lemon juice for 30 minutes.
- Make a smooth batter with the ingredients of batter.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil.
- Add chopped onion & stir in low heat.
- Add all the ingredients one by one for sauce & stir continuously.
- Remove from the heat & keep aside.
- Again heat oil.
- Dip the prawn into the batter & deep fry till golden brown.
- Arrange the fried prawns on a plate & pour hot sauce over it & serve.
