These choco-chip cupcakes are easily made at home using simple ingredients, and you can decorate them with a swirl of freshly whipped cream & some extra choco-chips.
Ingredients for Choco Chip Cupcake Recipe
For the chocolate cupcake
- Eggs – 2
- Sugar – 1¼ cups powdered
- Maida – 1¼ cups
- Butter – ¼ cup
- Milk – ½ cup
- Cocoa powder – ¼ cup
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
- Vanilla essence – ½ tsp
- Choco chips – 2 tbsp
For the icing
- Whipping cream – 1 cup
- Icing sugar – 2 tbsp
- Butter – 2 tsp
- Choco chips to sprinkle
Procedure for preparing Choco Chip Cupcake
Beat the eggs well in a bowl till fluffy. Now add the sugar and again beat for around 2-3 minutes. Mix half of the maida/flour and baking powder in a bowl and add this slowly to the egg mixture while beating continuously on medium speed. Boil the milk along with butter in a pan, till the butter melts, and add this milk-butter mix to the cake mix and beat again. Add vanilla essence to this mix and also the remaining flour mix and cocoa powder slowly while beating continuously.
Now add the chocolate chips to the batter and fold in.
Line the cupcake moulds with cupcake paper and fill them with the batter. Bake the cupcakes at 180°C for 18 minutes . Once baked allow the cupcakes to cool. If u like your cupcakes without icing the just sprinkle them with icing sugar and they are ready to eat.
For the icing
Beat the whipping cream, butter and icing sugar till you get soft peaks.
Fill it in a piping bag and using a star nozzle pipe out the icing like as swirl and then sprinkle some chocolate chips on top of it.
Delicious cupcakes are ready to eat.
