Alu Sorshe Saag is seasonal Bengali dish, enjoyed with rice, healthy and very easy to prepare with a limited no. of ingredients.
Ingredients for Potato and Mustard Leaves Recipe
- Potatoes – 2 (cut in small cubes)
- Mustard leaves / Sarso Saag – 1 bunch (chopped)
- Kala Jeera – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 2 tsp
Procedure for preparing Potato and Mustard Leaves Recipe
Heat oil in a pan/kadhai and splutter the kala jeera.
to this add the potatoes and fry till potatoes are soft.
Now add turmeric powder and salt along with the chopped mustard leaves.
Mix well and let the mustard leaves cook.
Check seasoning and remove from fire.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
