Procedure for preparing Aam Ki Chutney Recipe

Wash the mangoes and then cut the mango flesh with the skin on, into long pieces and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan/wok/kadhai and add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. Then add the dry red chillies breaking them into halves and stir it once.

To this add turmeric and chilli powder and stir once again.

Now add the mango slices and mix well, then add enough water to cook the mangoes and allow the mangoes to cook. Once the mango becomes tender add sugar(increase or decrease the amount of sugar as per your taste as this chutney is a sweet and tangy chutney, if you want it to be more tangy then add less sugar).

Once the sugar fully melts check the consistency of the chutney if you like thin chutney let the water remain or else simmer for some more time to get a thick chutney.

Finally garnish with roasted cumin powder and your yummy aam ki chutney is ready to be served.
