Ingredients for Apple Kheer Recipe
- Apples – 3
- Sugar – 6 tbsp
- Water – ¾ cup
- Milk – 700 ml
- Green cardamom powder – 1 tsp
- Saffron – few strands
- Kewara water – ½ tsp
- Cashew powder – 1 tsp (for garnishing)
Procedure for preparing Apple Kheer Recipe
Peel and grate the apples. In a saucepan cook the apples with sugar and water, till the apples are cooked and the syrup is thick.
Boil milk in a pan and reduce it to half. Cool it completely and then mix it with the cooked apple mixture. Add cardamom powder, saffron, kewara water and cashew powder to it and mix well.
Serve cool or chilled.
