Pomegranate Chutney is very tasty & simple to cake. It is wonderful after a heavy meal.
Ingredients for preparing Pomegranate Chutney:
- Pomegranate : 1 piece (take seeds out)
- Tamarind Pulp : 1 tsp
- Sugar : 3 tbsp
- Salt : a pinch
- Roasted cumin seed powder : a pinch
- Ginger juice : ½ tsp
- Water : 2 tbsp
Procedure for preparing Pomegranate Chutney:
- Mix water, sugar & boil for 5 minutes to make a sugar syrup.
- Add seeds of pomegranate with sugar syrup & cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
- Remove from heat.
- Strain the pomegranate mixture.
- Further boil this mixture for 2 minutes.
- Add ginger juice, salt, roasted cumin seed powder & tamarind pulp.
- Remove from heat.
- Cool down. Garnish with pomegranate & serve.
