Malai Paneer is another dish from the Vegetarian’s Delight, is a delicious blend of cream & spices in which paneer cubes are mixed. This is best enjoyed with roti or paratha.
Ingredients for Malai Paneer Recipe
- Cottage cheese/paneer – 150 gms
- Onions – 3(chopped)
- Capsicum – 1 small(chopped)
- Pepper powder – 2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Cashew powder – 2 tbsp
- Butter – 3 tbsp
- Fresh cream – 1 cup
- Milk – 1 ½ cup
- Kasuri methi – 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves – ½ cup (chopped)
Procedure for preparing Malai Paneer Recipe
Cut the paneer into cubes and then lightly fry them in butter . Keep aside.
Heat the remaining butter and add onions and ginger to it saute till the onion turns translucent.
To this add the capsicum and again saute for 2 minutes.
Now add the pepper powder and salt and mix well.
Add the kasuri methi, milk and fresh cream and again mix well. Cook for 2 minutes on low flame .
Finally add the cashew powder and mix well.
Check seasoning . Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and remove from fire.
Serve hot.
