Onion Rava Dosa is prepared with a batter made by Rava/Suji with chopped onions, green chillies and coriander leaves. It is very delicious & easy to prepare. It is best served with Sambar or Coconut Chutney.
Ingredients for Onion Rava Dosa Recipe
- Rava (suji/semolina) – 3 cups
- Salt – to taste
- Water as required
- Onion – 2 (chopped)
- Green chillies – 3 (chopped)
- Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Procedure for preparing Onion Rava Dosa
Grind rava, salt and little water in a mixer to make a smooth batter. Transfer this to a bowl and add the chopped onions, green chillies and Coriander leaves to it.
Now Heat a flat pan and Rub the surface with oil then pour 1 big spoonful of the batter to it and spread it in circular motions just like a dosa. When one side is cooked turn it over and cook the other side.
Remove from heat and your Onion rava dosa is ready to be served hot with either Sambar or Ulli sambar or coconut chutney or Onion coconut chutney.
