Mesab Recipe

Gond or Gond Katira is known as GUM in english. It is a traditional recipe of Pakistan & India. Gond is famously called “Quatir”. It is eaten in cold season since it provides warmth to your body. It is highly nutritious to eat these in cold countries. This is recipe is of a sweet dish prepared with Gond.

Ingredients for Mesab Recipe

  • Gond – 250 gms
  • PowderedSugar  – 500 gms
  • Kaju – 500 gms
  • Desi Ghee – 1 kg
  • Urud Dal powder – 500 gms

Procedure for preparing Mesab Recipe

Fry gond in small quantities in 500 gms ghee and then smash them. In the remaining ghee fry the urad dal powder upto 20-25 minutes till the colour of urad dal powder changes.

Now mix the gond to the urad dal powder. .Remove from heat and add sugar and kaju to the mix. Set it in a tray.

Let it cool and then cut it into square pieces.
