Spaghetti Bolognese is a form of pasta dish popular outside of Italy consists of a meat sauce served on a bed of spaghetti, often with a good sprinkling of grated cheese. It consists of meat, tomato, onion and spices.
Ingredients for Spaghetti Bolognese
- Cooked Spaghetti – 2 cups
- Grated cheese – ½ cup
- Cooked mince meat – 2 cups
- Onions – 2 (chopped)
- Tomatoes – 2 (finely chopped)
- Parsley – 1 bunch (finely chopped)
- Cornflour – 1 tbsp
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
Procedure for preparing Spaghetti Bolognese
Blanch the tomatoes and mash them. Fry onion in the butter and add the meat, garlic, salt, pepper and tomatoes.
Stir well for 5 minutes.
Blend the cornflour in a little water and pour over it. Add spaghetti, cheese and mix well. Garnish with chopped parsley.
