Mixed Fruit Chutney Recipe

Mixed Fruit Chutney bearing the nutritive values of four well known fruits makes it an absolute pleasure to eat after a sumptuous meal.

Ingredients for preparing Mixed Fruit Chutney:

  • Apple : 1 piece (diced)
  • Grapes : ½ cup
  • Dates : 8 pieces (deseeded)
  • Ripe mango : 1 piece (diced)
  • Lemon juice : ½ tsp
  • Sugar : 1 cup
  • Salt : a pinch
  • Water : 2 cups

Procedure for preparing Mixed Fruit Chutney:

  • Boil 2 cups of water.
  • Add apple, grapes, dates. Cover with a lid.
  • Boil till fruits become tender.
  • Uncover. Add salt, sugar & mango.
  • Cook in low flame till it thickens.
  • Remove from heat. Make it cool.
  • Add lemon juice & serve.
