Mixed Fruit Chutney bearing the nutritive values of four well known fruits makes it an absolute pleasure to eat after a sumptuous meal.
Ingredients for preparing Mixed Fruit Chutney:
- Apple : 1 piece (diced)
- Grapes : ½ cup
- Dates : 8 pieces (deseeded)
- Ripe mango : 1 piece (diced)
- Lemon juice : ½ tsp
- Sugar : 1 cup
- Salt : a pinch
- Water : 2 cups
Procedure for preparing Mixed Fruit Chutney:
- Boil 2 cups of water.
- Add apple, grapes, dates. Cover with a lid.
- Boil till fruits become tender.
- Uncover. Add salt, sugar & mango.
- Cook in low flame till it thickens.
- Remove from heat. Make it cool.
- Add lemon juice & serve.
