Ginger Chicken Recipe

Ginger Chicken Recipe

Chinese Ginger Chicken Recipe is worldwide famous due to irresistible taste. Its charming appearance & yummy taste attracts all.

Ingredients for preparing Ginger Chicken:

  • Minced Chicken: 500 gm
  • Ginger: 2 tbsp (crushed)
  • Pepper powder: 1 tsp
  • Ajinomoto: a pinch
  • Salt : 1 tsp
  • Cornflour : 2 tbsp
  • Egg : 1 piece
  • Oil : for frying

For Gravy:

  • Spring onion : 100 gm
  • Ginger paste: 2 tbsp
  • Soya Sauce : 1 tsp
  • Tomato Sauce : 2 tsp
  • Chilli garlic sauce : 2 tsp
  • Oil : 2 tbsp
  • Cornflour : 1 tbsp (mixed in ½ cup of water)
  • Salt : to taste
  • Pepper : to taste

Procedure for preparing Ginger chicken:

  • Mix chicken, ginger, pepper, ajinomoto, salt in a bowl.
  • Make small balls out of this.
  • Beat egg, salt & cornflour.
  • Dip the balls into it & deep fry in oil till golden brown.
  • Keep aside the ginger balls.
  • Now for the gravy heat oil in a pan.
  • Add ginger paste & sauté for a minute.
  • Add soya sauce, chilli garlic sauce, tomato sauce, salt & pepper. Stir well in a low flame for 2 minutes.
  • Add cornflour. Stir well.
  • Remove from heat & serve hot with Chinese rice or noodles.
