Chickoo Halwa Recipe

Chickoo halwa is sweet dish prepared from smashed chickoo with sugar and mawa. Chickoo Halwa is delicious dessert dish that can be served as after meal sweet on special occasions.

Ingredient for preparing Chickoo Ka Halwa

  • Chickoo – 6 pieces (peel & smashed)
  • Sugar – 4 tsp
  • Mawa / khoya – 100 gm
  • Ghee– 1 tbsp
  • Milk – 1/2 cup
  • Chopped (almonds and pistachio) – 2 tbsp

Procedure for preparing Chickoo Ka Halwa

In a saucepan put smashed chickoo and milk. Heat it till chickoo gets softer. Now add sugar and mix it on low flame heat till you see the water released from sugar is burnt. Now add khoya (mawa) and ghee. Ghee should be mixed till it is absorbed and then released by the mixture. Add chopped almond and pistachio.

Chickoo ka Halwa can be serve hot or cold.
