Mushroom Masala is a fantastic vegetarian dish. Its finger licking tastes adds to the pleasure of the dinner.
Ingredients for preparing Mushroom Masala:
- Bottom Mushroom : 200 gm
- Refined oil : 4 tbsp
- Onion : 1 piece (chopped)
- Tomato : 1 piece (chopped)
- Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
- Cumin powder : 1 tsp
- Ginger paste : 1 tsp
- Green chilli : 2 pieces (slit)
- Coriander leaves : 2 tbsp
- Salt : to taste
- Sugar : 1 tsp
- Lemon : 1 piece
- Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
- Garlic paste : 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder : 1 tsp
Procedure for preparing Mushroom Masala:
- Boil mushroom with ½ tsp of salt & 2 cups of water.
- Strain out the water & spread lemon juice. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a wok.
- Add chopped onion, garlic paste, sugar & stir well till light brown.
- Add turmeric powder, ginger paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder, chopped tomatoes, salt. Stir continuously till oil releases.
- Add mushroom, coriander leaves & green chillies.
- Pour ½ cup of water & cook for 3 minutes.
- Spread garam masala powder & remove from heat.
- Serve hot.
