Potato and Cheese Balls Recipe

Potato and Cheese Balls is a very easy and delicious snack which is an instant hit with kids and it is healthy as well as it has the goodness of potatoes and cheese in it.It is a snack for all the cheese lovers as the centre of this snack is filled with melted cheese. Try it and yo won’t be disappointed.

Ingredients for Potato and Cheese Balls Recipe

  • Potatoes – 3 (boiled)
  • Cheese slices – 5
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – 1 tsp
  • Bread crumbs – for coating the cheese balls
  • Cornflour– 1 tsp(dissolved in 2 tsp water)
  • Oil – 300 ml(for deep frying)

Procedure for preparing Potato and Cheese Balls Recipe

Mash the potatoes with salt and pepper and keep aside.

Cut the cheese slices into halves. Now take one half of a cheese slice and roll it into a ball and then cover it with with some mashed potatoes and keep aside. Do the same for other cheese slices.

Now dip each of these balls into the cornflour mix and then roll them in the bread crumbs so that they are coated with bread crumbs properly.

Now heat oil in a pan and deep fry these balls. You will see that the inside cheese has melted and thus when you eat the potato and cheese balls you will get a taste of melted cheese in the centre.

This recipe makes around 10 potato and cheese balls. Serve it hot with tomato sauce.
