Bhetki & Prawn are all time favourite to all Bengalis. Bhetki Prawn Roll is an exotic combination of these two sorts of fishes & rich spices.
Ingredients for preparing Bhetki Prawn roll:
- Bhetki fillet : 2 pieces
- Prawn : 2 pieces
- Lemon juice : 3 tbsp
- Olive oil : 1 tbsp
- Cornflour : 5 tbsp
- Garlic paste : 1 tbsp
- Salt : to taste
- Butter : 3 tbsp
- Black pepper : 2 tbsp (crushed)
- Garlic : 1 tsp (chopped)
- Fish sauce : 3 tbsp
Procedure for preparing Bhetki Prawn Roll:
- Marinate bhetki & prawn with salt, pepper, lemon juice, olive oil & keep for 2 hours.
- Roll the bhetki with prawn as filling.
- Put 3 tbsp of cornflour & pepper in a plastic bag & toss to coat the roll & refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Put butter in a pan & fry the roll. Keep aside.
- Put olive oil in a pan.
- Add garlic, fish sauce & stir.
- Add the fried roll & ½ cup of water & cook for 5 minutes.
- Mix rest of the cornflour into the mixture.
- Serve hot.
