This Crunchy Chicken lollipop is prepared in a different way from the usual chicken lollipop where the the chicken drumsticks are are coated with bread crumbs to give it a certain crunchiness and is very easy to prepare.
Ingredients for Crunchy Chicken Lollipop Recipe
- Chicken lollipop pieces – 6
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – 1 tsp
- Egg -1
- Soy sauce – 1 tsp
- Vinegar -1 tsp
- Chilli sauce – 1 tsp
- Corn flour – 2 tbsp
- Maida/ all purpose flour – 2 tbsp
- Bread crumbs – forĀ covering the lollipops
- Oil – 300 ml for deep frying
Procedure for preparing Crunchy Chicken Lollipop Recipe
Wash the chicken lollipops and keep aside.
In a bowl whisk the egg and then add all the ingredients except oil and bread crumbs and whisk well.
Let the batter stand for at least 20 – 25 minutes.
Now dip each chicken lollipop into this batter and then dip it in the bread crumbs so as to cover the lollipops evenly with the bread crumbs and then deep fry them till golden brown.
Your crunchy chicken lollipops are ready. The bread crumbs gives it a certain crunchiness.
Serve hot with ketchup.
