A veggie burger is a hamburger -style patty that does not contain meat. It is a whole some tummy filling snack that everyone loves. It has cheese , veggies, mayonnaise and is a perfect snack.
Ingredients for Vegetarian Burger Recipe
- Burger buns – 4
- Cheese slices – 4
- Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp
- Potatoes – 5(boiled and peeled)
- Onion – 1(chopped)
- Tomato – 2(cut in roundels)
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
- Besan/gram flour– to dip the potato patty
- Bread crumbs – as required to coat the patties
- Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp on each bun
- Oil – 2 tsp and some more for deep frying the patties
Procedure for Preparing Vegetarian Burger Recipe
To make the patties first smash the boiled potatoes. Heat oil in a pan and add onions and sauté for 2 minutes then add turmeric powder and then add the smashed potatoes and salt to it and mix well.
Let the potato mix cool. Mean while mix Now divide this potato mix into 4 portions and make 4 balls . Take one ball in your hand and flatten it in the shape of a patty and then dip it in the gram flour and roll it on the bread crumbs so that the bread crumbs are coated properly then keep aside. Repeat this for the other balls as well.
Deep fry these 4 patties and keep aside.
Now take the bottom portion of the burger bun and apply mayonnaise then place one patty on it, then place one cheese slice on top of it and tomato sauce ,then place two tomato roundels and sprinkle some salt and pepper on it. Finally keep the upper portion of the burger bun and the burger is ready.
Repeat the same for the other burgers.
You may also use lettuce leaves in your burger. It will taste really good.
