Momos are made with a simple flour-and-water dough where the dough is fashioned into small circular flat pieces. The filling is then enclosed either in a round pocket or in a half moon shape or crescent. The dumplings are then cooked by steaming and served hot with a soup or tomato-chilli dip. They can be pan fried or deep fried afterwards.

Now knead the dough again before rolling them out to make wrappers. Then make small balls of the dough and roll them out into small circles of 2 inches diameter (make sure that the centre of the wrapper is thicker than the sides.
Now take a wrapper in your palm and add 1 tsp of the filling and then fold the wrapper in the shape of a half moon and then pinch the sides to seal the filling and thereby making a design with pleats. Now grease the a double boiler properly and then put these momos and steam for 10-15 minutes.
