Serves – 2

Ingredients for Ginger Pudina Sharbat Recipe

  • Ginger – 1″
  • Mint/Pudina leaves – 200 gms
  • Lemon – 1 big
  • Black salt – ½ tsp
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Water – 500 ml

Procedure for preparing Ginger Pudina Sharbat

Soak the pudina/mint leaves in lukewarm water (500 ml) for 1 hour. Make thin strips of the ginger. Strain the leaves and put inside a blender with the ginger, add a little water (the one we had strained out) and blend for a minute, then strain the leaves & ginger and repeat the process. After repeating the process 3-4 times, squeeze out the remaining juice from ginger & pudina by hand & using a sieve.

To the extracted juice-water mix, add the juice of the lemon (strained), black salt, sugar & ice cubes and mix well. Garnish with a few mint leaves & serve cold.
