Pomegranate Chutney Recipe

Pomegranate Chutney Recipe

Pomegranate Chutney is very tasty & simple to cake. It is wonderful after a heavy meal.

Ingredients for preparing Pomegranate Chutney:

  • Pomegranate : 1 piece (take seeds out)
  • Tamarind Pulp : 1 tsp
  • Sugar : 3 tbsp
  • Salt : a pinch
  • Roasted cumin seed powder : a pinch
  • Ginger juice : ½ tsp
  • Water : 2 tbsp

Procedure for preparing Pomegranate Chutney:

  • Mix water, sugar & boil for 5 minutes to make a sugar syrup.
  • Add seeds of pomegranate with sugar syrup & cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Strain the pomegranate mixture.
  • Further boil this mixture for 2 minutes.
  • Add ginger juice, salt, roasted cumin seed powder & tamarind pulp.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Cool down. Garnish with pomegranate & serve.
