Aloo Jhuri Bhaja Recipe

Alu Jhuri Bhaja is the crispy version of  the favourite Bengali accompaniment for dal-rice. It’s very easy to prepare & absolutely wonderful even as a snack.

Ingredients for Aloo Jhuri Bhaja Recipe

  • Potatoes – 5-6 (peeled and cut in very thin stripes)
  • Curry leaves – 2 strand
  • Peanuts – 2 tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – 300 ml

Procedure for preparing Aloo Jhuri Bhaja Recipe

Rub salt over the potato strips and add curry leaves and peanuts to it.

Heat oil in a pan/kadhai and then add small quantities of the potato-peanut-curry leaves mix into the oil and deep fry them till crispy and slightly brown(make sure you don’t over brown them). Strain and keep aside.

You can also store it in an air tight jar after it cools down.
