A healthy and delicious recipe for vegetarians, it easy to prepare and make a wonderful snack.
Ingredients for Veg Cutlets
- Green chilly ( paste) – 1 tsp
- Ginger (paste) – ½ tsp
- Spring onion – 50 gm(chopped)
- Carrot – 250 gm(chopped)
- Capsicum – 2 piece (medium)(chopped)
- Cabbage – 500 gm(chopped)
- Peas – 200 gm
- Salt – to taste
- Refined oil – 100 ml
- Cumin powder – 2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Potatoes (boiled) – 200 gm
- Suji/Rawa/Semolina – for cover
- Water – 1 cup
Procedure for Preparing Veg Cutlets
Mash the boiled potatoes and keep aside.
Now boil cabbage, carrot, shimla mirch (capsicum), and peas with salt, cumin powder, pepper powder, chilly paste, ginger paste, garam masala and water till its tender and water gets evaporated.
Take out this in a big bowl add mashed potatoes and spring onion mix it well.
Then make it into triangle shape cutlets and spread suji over it. If it sticks on your hands then apply oil on your palm before shaping it.
In tawa, shallow fry the cutlets using ½ tbsp of oil for each.
Serve hot with tomato sauce and with bread.
