Pancake Topped With Cinnamon And Honey Recipe

A pancake is a thin, flat, round cake prepared from a batter, and cooked on a hot griddle or frying pan. Most pancakes are quick breads, which use a quick leavening agent such as baking powder. Typically, pancakes are cooked one side on a griddle and flipped partway through to cook the other side. pancakes may be servedĀ  with a variety of toppings or fillings including jam, chocolate chips, fruit, syrup or meat.

Makes – 10 pancakes

Ingredients for Cinnamon And Honey Pancakes Recipe

  • Flour/maida – 2 cups
  • Baking powder – 1 tbsp
  • Eggs – 2 (beaten)
  • Milk – as needed
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Honey – 2 tbsp + more to garnish on the pancake
  • Cinnamom powder – 1 tsp
  • Butter – melted to spread on the pancake.

Procedure for preparing Cinnamon And Honey Pancakes Recipe

Mix the flour, baking powder, eggs, sugar and enough milk to get a thick batter.

Stir in the vanilla essence along with 2 tbsp honey and 1 tsp cinnamon powder and mix well.

Take a non- stick pan and pour spoonfuls of the prepared batter and cook until golden brown on both the sides.

Serve the pancakes hot, topped with melted butter and honey . The honey should be dripping on top of the pancakes.

Note – alternately you can also use date syrup instead of honey.
