Egg toast or Dim toast as it is more famously known as in Bengal is an easy and heavy breakfast dish. It can be found in the roadside stalls of Bengal where the Bread is kept on top of an omelette and then cooked.

Ingredients for Egg Toast Recipe
- Egg – 2 (beaten)
- Onion – 1(chopped)
- Green chillies – 2(chopped)
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
- Quarter bread – sliced in halves vertically
- Butter – ½ tsp
- Oil – 1 tsp
Procedure for Preparing Egg Toast Recipe
Add the chopped onions, green chillies, salt and pepper to the beaten eggs and again beat them till they become fluffy.
In a flat pan heat some oil and spread it all over the pan with the help of a spatula and then pour the beaten eggs on it and then spread them with the spatula evenly.
Spread some butter on the outer portion of the two bread pieces and instantly keep them on top of the poured omelette when still uncooked, so that the bread sticks to the omelette.
Once the egg bis done on one side, then carefully turn it over and cook the other side as well.
Remove from heat and serve hot.
