Home made Truffle chocolates with a soft, creamy inner balls with a dark chocolate shell coated with chopped almonds. Kids & adult chocolate lovers will love it alike.
Serves – make 20 chocolates
Ingredients for Easy Truffle Chocolate Recipe
- Fresh cream – ½ cup
- Milk Chocolate – 350 gms (cut into small pieces)
- Dark Chocolate – 250 gms
- Almonds – 25 (chopped)
Procedure for preparing Easy Truffle Chocolate Recipe
In a bowl melt the milk chocolate pieces (melt it in a double boiler, see here), once the chocolate is fully melted add fresh cream and mix well, do not let the cream boil. Now, remove from fire and let it cool down, once it has cooled down refrigerate it for 5-6 hours or more till the chocolate is set.
Once it’s set, melt the dark chocolate in the same manner, then make small balls of the refrigerated mix, you have to make the balls fast because it tends to melt from the warmth of your palms, you may also use a very small spoon to scoop to make the balls. Now, drop the balls into the melted dark chocolates, take it out immediately and drop it into the chopped almonds, let it sit for 2 minutes and then roll the balls over the chopped almonds to coat the balls properly.
Finally refrigerate the Truffle balls for at least 10 hours for it to set. You may wrap it in foil papers and store in a cool place.
