Ema Datshi, made very spicy with cheese and chili peppers, might be called the national dish for its ubiquity and the pride that Bhutanese have for it. I visited Bhutan a few days back with my family and there I tried this dish because I’m fond of spicy food and I fell in love with this dish as soon as I tasted it. Our driver’s wife who lives in Bhutan told me the process of preparing it. I came back and tried it at home and it turned out very well.. The national dish of Bhutan , ema datsi, is made from home made yak or mare milk cheese and hot peppers.
