Churma Ladoo Recipe

Churma ladoo is a sweet prepared combining wheat flour, gram flour, sugar, cardamom, ghee and semolina. It can be easily prepared and is healthy at the same time.

Ingredients for Churma Ladoo Recipe

  • Wheat flour(atta) – 1 cup
  • Besan (gram flour) – ΒΌ cup
  • Rava/semolina/sooji – 2 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Cardamom– 5 (only seeds)
  • Ghee/clarified butter – 5-6 tbsp or as needed
  • Cashews (chopped)- 5-6

Procedure for preparing Churma Ladoo Recipe

In a pan/kadhai roast the wheat flour, gram flour and semolina without using oil . Roast it till the raw smell of these ingredients are lost.

Now remove from heat and allow it to cool.

Meanwhile powder the sugar and cardamom seeds in a blender and then add this to the cooled mixture and mix well.

Now add ghee little by little till the mixture takes the form of a consistency where you can knead it and make balls. Once the required consistency is acquired add the chopped cashews and then make balls out of the mixture and form ladoos.
