Besan Ke Ladoo Recipe

Besan ke ladoo is a a traditional sweet India  and can be prtepared very easily. It is yummy and all its needs is 4 ingredients which are easily available such as gram flour, sugar, cardamom powder and ghee(clarified butter).

Serves- 10-12 ladoos

Ingredients for Besan Ke Ladoo Recipe

  • Besan/gram flour – 1½ cups
  • Cardamom  – 4-5 (take only the seeds)
  • Sugar – ¾ cup
  • Ghee/clarified butter – 2 tsp + 2 tsp (divided as per use)

Procedure for preparing Besan Ke Ladoo Recipe

Heat 2 tsp ghee in a kadhai / pan and then add the gram flour to it. Roast the gram flour in the kadhai on low flame till the raw smell of gram flour no longer exists and it also turns slightly brownish in colour.

Now grind the cardamom seeds and sugar together in a mixer and add it to the roasted gram flour.

Now mix well and finally add 2 tsp of ghee on top of it and remove from fire.

Let the mixture cool down a bit but warm enough to form the ladoos. Make small balls of tennis ball size of this mixture while still warm. Your Besan ke ladoos are ready to be eaten.
