Pepper Chicken Kerala style is a spicy chicken preparation, fully bringing out the hot taste and flavour of black pepper.
Ingredients for Pepper Chicken Recipe
- Chicken – 500 gms
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Pepper (powdered/ground) – 2 tsp
- Curry leaves – 2 strands
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
- Fennel seeds/saunf – 1 tbsp (powdered)
- Onion – 2 (choppped)
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Procedure for preparing Pepper Chicken Recipe
Wash the chicken.
Heat oil in a pan/kadhai and add chopped onions,ginger-garlic paste, powdered fennel seeds and curry leaves .
SautÃ© till they turn soft. Now add turmeric powder, garam masala and pepper and mix well. Once the masala is cooked add the chicken pieces and fry for 2 minutes. Now add salt and required water and allow the chicken to cook.
Check seasoning and remove from fire. Serve hot .
